2-Day Auricular Acupuncture Course 

The objectives of this course is to teach the practical application of Auricular Acupuncture for weight loss
to stop smoking, avoid alcohol and stress management.

The course centres on specialised treatments as used in
major drug and alcohol rehabilitation establishments
throughout the world.

There will be a brief theoretical lecture covering, the history, health and safety issues, contra-indications and basic anatomy of the ear. The remainder of the course will concentrate on the practical aspect of auricular acupuncture.

You will be shown how to locate the acupuncture points using an electro- point locator and how to develop a good acupuncture technique.

Examination is by continuous assessment and during the final session students will perform auricular acupuncture on REAL patients.

A certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the course and students will be accepted as Auricular Therapy members of The Acupuncture Society and will be able to use the letters MAcSAU after their name on payment of the membership fee of £40.00
