History of the therapy and benefits of the treatment.
Client information & medical questionnaire.
Contra indications, when not to treat.
Advice on massage tables, chairs and other items needed to carry out a treatment.
Practical demonstration of techniques broken down into small sections. Students pair off and practice on each other under supervision to ensure correct techniques are being used.
Lunch
After lunch, there is time for full revision of the treatment and a read over of the worksheets.
Each student has the time to perform a complete treatment on another student under supervision of the instructor.
Time for questions.
Breaks are taken at suitable times and hot drinks, spring water, fruit and chocolate are available at all times.

What qualification will I get?
A Certified Practitioner certificate from by Wellbeing Holistic Therapies
Do I need any experience before starting any courses?
There is no need to have a qualification or indeed any experience as the courses are very hands on and practical. Everything you need to know is included.
Can I practice professionally?
These courses will enable you to obtain insurance which means you can practice on the public. Of course we would recommend a great deal practice on friends and family before this is undertaken. You will not be short of volunteers.
Do I need a qualification in Anatomy and Physiology?
In a word, NO. Everything you need to know is covered on the courses and the Reflexology course covers A & P in some detail.
What do I need to bring with me?
Just a packed lunch for the day. Drinks, fruit and chocolate are available throughout the day.
Also, please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. A cotton top for the Indian head massage and jogging bottoms or loose fitting trousers for the Thai massage would be beneficial.
